GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

The candidates may please note the following before filling the application form / applying online:

There is a common application form (OMR and online for JEE based admissions for all) where a student can fill the choices of one or more than one Institute.

The admission is not done based on central counseling by CBSE.

Candidates must have appeared in the JEE Main 2016 conducted by the CBSE.

 In Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Programs, 50% of the seats allocated to the programs are open for candidates based on JEE (Main) score and 10+2 exam scores respectively. Candidates appearing in JEE and those with Biology & Biotechnology and Physics combination at 10+2 level can apply for both the options, but must fill up separate Application Forms, as prescribed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE – 2016

The applicant may follow the four simple steps:

1.      Fill online or hard copy of application (OMR) to Register/Apply for Jaypee Education System

2.      Based on overall all India rank in JEE (Main) 2016, the Merit List is announced for admission.

3.      Counseling  will be held on the declaration of JEE Main-2016  results. Therefore it is advised to monitor and view the websites for details.

4.      Admission and commencement of classes – please refer to Institute website ‘www.jiit.ac.in’

REGISTRATION / APPLICATION PROCESS FOR JEE BASED ADMISSIONS

Candidates must register themselves by filling online or sending the OMR based prescribed application form.

The merit list is displayed depending on the choice of institute (s) given by the candidate in application form and based on JEE Main all India rank.

(c) The schedule of counseling shall be as below (common to all three institutes): (i) At JIIT, Noida, JUIT and Waknaghat

Each day the Cut-offs list will be displayed, therefore the candidates are advised that they should visit the Institute website to see the results.

How to Obtain and Fill the Application Form

Any of the below mentioned ways may be followed to fill the application form:

By buying the application form directly from any of the campuses by paying Rs. 1000/- cash or DD of Rs. 1000/- to JIIT favouring Jaypee Admissions Account, payable at Noida/Delhi.

By applying online on website . Candidates may also apply online and pay through bank draft.

The application form and brochure can also be obtained from selected bank branches of IDBI and PNB as per the details available on the institute websites.

(a)    By Post or Cash Purchase – Rs 1000/-

(b)   Apply on line—Rs 900/- (Discount of Rs 100)
